Coastal Community Foundation Opens Summer 2016 Application for the REALTORS® Housing Opportunities Fund (RHOF)

Grants of up to $5,000 are available to nonprofits providing access to affordable housing in Berkeley, Charleston & Dorchester Counties

CHARLESTON, SCApril 27, 2016 – Coastal Community Foundation is now accepting REALTORS® Housing Opportunities Fund applications for requests of up to $5,000 from organizations providing affordable housing access and homeownership education to residents living in Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester Counties. Online applications are available at https://coastalcommunityfoundation.org/grants/ and must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on July 22nd.

Established in 2003 as a fund of Coastal Community Foundation by the Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS®, RHOF distributes grants biannually to organizations that assist in the development, maintenance, or repair of housing for those whose dreams of homeownership are challenged by economic disadvantage. RHOF has awarded more than $820,000 since its founding.

Please be sure all application materials, including the application and its required attachments are sent together in one envelope or attached to one email. Electronic submissions should be emailed to Grants@coastalcommunityfoundation.org. Hand-delivered or mailed applications should go to 635 Rutledge Avenue, Suite 201, Charleston, SC 29403.
