Blackbaud Fund of Coastal Community Foundation Opens 2015-2016 Grant Application

CHARLESTON, S.C. October 26, 2015 – The Blackbaud Fund of Coastal Community Foundation is now accepting requests for funding of up to $10,000 from Tri-County nonprofits supporting children with special needs or providing education for disadvantaged youth. Online applications are available at https://coastalcommunityfoundation.org/grants/ and must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4th.
The Blackbaud Fund was established in 1995 to carry out the company’s tradition of giving back through corporate philanthropy and employee-led initiatives. In keeping with Blackbaud’s commitment to service, an employee-led committee reviews applications and develops funding recommendations annually. The Fund continues to grow through employee and company contributions.
To apply, nonprofits must create a login to Coastal Community Foundation’s grant application portal. It may take up to 48 hours for login requests to be approved. Please direct additional questions about the Blackbaud Fund to Regional Vice-President Edie Blakeslee at Edie@coastalcommunityfoundation.org.
