Calling all Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton, and Jasper County Residents!

An online fundraiser, scheduled for June 14, 2012, has been announced to benefit The Beaufort Fund and increase awareness of Coastal Community Foundation’s presence in the Southern part of our service area.  The Foundation is seeking your assistance in spreading the word “Twive and Receive”. The event is meant to spread the word about the Foundation’s cause via social media (such as Facebook, Twitter, blog, etc) to not only raise money, but also aid in establishing a respectable online presence for the organization.

All proceeds will go to the Beaufort Fund which was established in 1998 to distribute grants to Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper county non-profit organizations.  The Foundation’s and The Beaufort Fund’s ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life in these counties by supporting the network of non-profits that serve our community.

The one day event will take participants to our donation page from our social media accounts. What we ask is for  help interacting with our Twitter account, as well as share a few posts encouraging your followers to participate and follow our account. Whether it be on a Facebook page, Twitter account, or any other social medium used, every bit of exposure helps! The more followers we gain, between now and June 14, the better!

If you feel that this is something you would like to be a part of, or if you have any questions regarding the event, please feel free to contact Coastal Community Foundation at gray@coastalcommunityfoundation.org. Remember, just one tweet exposes our cause to a wide variety of individuals. Every little tweet helps!

  •       Follow our Beaufort Twitter account
  •     RT our Twive and Receive tweets
