Commentary: Housing shortage needs many solutions, and this plan unites them

It’s no secret that affordable housing is one of the biggest challenges facing the Charleston region. In fact, we’ve been talking about it for years. We see it in longer commutes, in employers struggling to fill open positions and in families being forced farther from the communities where they have built their lives.
