Future Military Officer’s Scholarship Fund
Established in 1997 through hundreds of gifts from members of the Charleston Chapter of the Military Officers’ Association of America, this fund provides annual scholarships to college-bound or in-college students whose current registered address is in a zip code beginning with the digits “294.” Scholarship recipients must enroll in a college ROTC program and intend to enter military service as a military officer. Scholarships are renewable for four years of college, provided certain conditions are met. One new scholarship is awarded annually.

Application process and schedule
Applications can be completed online beginning mid-January. Each applicant will only complete one application and the online system will automatically pair you with scholarships for which you are eligible. The deadline for all applications to be submitted, including letters of recommendation, is mid-March. All applicants will be contacted regarding their application status by early July.
