Mother Emanuel A.M.E. Scholarship Endowment
Established in 2015 following the massacre at Emanuel AME Church, this renewable scholarship is awarded to a graduating high school senior from Early College High School. One renewable award is available for the duration of college. (Available if the present winner does not renew).

Criteria for eligibility

Applicants must be African-American students from Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties who will attend college in South Carolina.
Application process and schedule

Applications can be completed online beginning mid-January. Each applicant will only complete one application and the online system will automatically pair you with scholarships for which you are eligible. The deadline for all applications to be submitted, including letters of recommendation, is mid-March. All applicants will be contacted regarding their application status by early July.
