The Beaufort Fund is the largest-ever grantmaking of Coastal Community Foundation, having awarded more than $11 million to nonprofits serving Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper counties. Each year, we host a reception for The Beaufort Fund to celebrate its nonprofit grantees. This year is extra special because the Foundation recently had the honor of revealing the donors who created and funded this enormous giving operation, the late Joanne and Alan Moses of Dataw Island, S.C. Joanne and Alan demonstrated that ordinary people can do extraordinary things, and we look forward to celebrating their generous hearts alongside this year’s nonprofit grantees.
