Coastal Community Foundation Announces Grant Applications for Winthrop Family Allendale/Hampton Fund

Allendale and Hampton County nonprofits eligible to apply for up to $5,000 in funding

CHARLESTON, SCJuly 7, 2015 – The Winthrop Family Allendale/Hampton Fund of Coastal Community Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2015 funding cycle. Applications are open to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations serving Allendale and Hampton County citizens addressing any charitable cause, including the arts, education, environment and conservation, health, human needs and community development.
In 2001, The Winthrop Family created The Winthrop Family Allendale/Hampton Fund in memory of Sarah T. Winthrop to provide a permanent source of funding to support a broad range of charitable programs that benefit citizens who reside in the Allendale and Hampton County area.
Priority will be given to programs that address existing needs in new and imaginative ways, address emerging needs, were developed collaboratively across different sectors, initiate promising pilot programs or create direct impact on the education or health of residents of Allendale or Hampton Counties, or the natural or built environment of these counties.
Applications are available to download online at https://coastalcommunityfoundation.org/grants/list-of-grants/.
