Faith Jefferson Hohloch Nursing Scholarship
The Faith Jefferson Hohloch Scholarship Endowment was created with Coastal Community Foundation of SC in 1999 by the late Dr. Hohloch to provide scholarships to promising students studying for a degree in Nursing. The scholarship is available to students who have been accepted or enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year US-based institution of higher education. Applicants must have legal residence in the 9-county service area of Coastal Community Foundation, be in need of financial aid to some degree, as determined by information provided on the scholarship application, and have firm plans to obtain a baccalaureate or higher degree in Nursing.

Application process and schedule

Applications can be completed online beginning mid-January. Each applicant will only complete one application and the online system will automatically pair you with scholarships for which you are eligible. The deadline for all applications to be submitted, including letters of recommendation, is mid-March. All applicants will be contacted regarding their application status by early July. Specific deadlines can be found on our scholarship portal each year, which can be accessed through the “Apply” button on our Scholarships for Graduate & Non-traditional Students page.
