Thomas E. Thornhill-Kiwanis Scholarship Endowment
This endowment was created in 2012 by the Kiwanis Club of Charleston in honor of Thomas E. Thornhill and his 50+ years of service to the club. It is awarded to a Charleston County high school senior who is a member of his or her school Key Club (or whose parent or guardian is an active member of a local Kiwanis Club) and shows strong potential to succeed in a South Carolina college. One scholarship is awarded annually.

Application process and schedule

Applications can be completed online beginning mid-January. Each applicant will only complete one application and the online system will automatically pair you with scholarships for which you are eligible. The deadline for all applications to be submitted, including letters of recommendation, is mid-March. All applicants will be contacted regarding their application status by early July.
