UPLIFT Scholarship sponsored by the Medical Staff at ECMC and East Cooper Medical Center
Established by East Cooper Medical Center in 2020, this scholarship is awarded to a student from Berkeley, Charleston, or Dorchester Counties who maintains a 2.5 GPA or greater. Preference is given to students with a relative employed by ECMC or its parent company, Tenet Healthcare.

Applicants must be high school seniors with a permanent residence in Berkeley, Charleston, or Dorchester counties and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
Application process and schedule

Applications can be completed online beginning mid-January. Each applicant will only complete one application and the online system will automatically pair you with scholarships for which you are eligible. The deadline for all applications to be submitted, including letters of recommendation, is mid-March. All applicants will be contacted regarding their application status by early July. Specific deadlines can be found on our scholarship portal each year, which can be accessed through the “Apply” button on our Scholarships for Current High School Seniors page.
